"Perfect place for rest"

"As a group of 15 people (a mix of adults and kids) this property had plenty of space for all of us, the bedrooms were a good size, with comfortable beds, clean bedding and all had access to their own bathrooms which was great. The kitchen would benefit from a bit more lighting but was clean and well equipped and had a large table and chairs big enough to seat us all. The only access to upstairs was via an open spiral staircase which was a little creaky and may not be suitable for those less physically able. There are two cosy living room areas downstairs with plenty of comfy seating. Attached to the property is a ‘games room’ with a hot tub and several games tables, the hot tub was lovely however we did find that it overflowed, meaning we had to mop the floor a lot! When we arrived we are greeted by the host who was very friendly and told us about the river Taw which runs close to the property and that we could use some of their paddleboards and kayaks on it, this was great bonus for us and we really enjoyed doing this. The property is located close to two train stations so has really easy access to places like Exeter and Barnstaple. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend "

"We had a lovely stay at the Linhay, as we have just come back as of yesterday 29th August 2026! The host was great with communication, and was very clear with instructions to get to the property! I would highly recommend to others as the beds and rooms were very comfortable, even one of my stepdaughters didn’t want to leave her comfortable bed in the mornings! We had a great time away. Ideal for a family friendly break away! Very clean property and worth the money also! Thank you for letting us stay!"

"Beautiful little holiday cottage, very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. The host David was very friendly and amenable. Nice touch with milk in the fridge and a bottom wine on arrival."

"Lovely spacious cottage well equipped, with comfy beds. Gorgeous patio just so quiet and relaxing to sit out in the sun. Steep narrow lane to approach and a steep drive into the car park so leave the sports car at home."
