The beautiful robes they provided made us feel at home. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. They even provided us bento boxes for lunch. "Staff and food were excellent. Property is old and needs upgrading. It rained overnight while we were there and the hotel leaked in corridors. Water everywhere in corridors and the stairs between floors. Rooms acceptable but not as clean as they should be. This hotel has a sister hotel across the street and that is where most of the facilities are, big onsen bath etc."

"So the few things I did not like where the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the onsen water was hot enough to burn me (the rock onsen at the bottom) and the pool closed SOOOO early that we didn’t get to experience it at all. I paid a lot of money for that hotel and then didn’t even get to experience the pool. But the staff was very accommodating and made great efforts to speak English to us. "
