"The male toilet in the lobby needs more air freshener. We were well received by the female staff member during our check in. She provided us with hotel information (e.g. daily breakfast, Onsen, laundry, etc.) clearly. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful with welcoming smiles. We also appreciated the daily room cleaning service. The quality of the daily breakfast was excellent! We were very impressed with the effectiveness and efficiency of baggage forwarding service provided by the hotel as we needed to send one baggage to a hotel in Tokyo on the day before our checking out from Manten Hotel in Toyama. "We really enjoyed our stay in one of the four top floor suites on the top floor with a nice view of the surrounding hills. The room was incredibly spacious by Japanese standards (actually by any!) and we enjoyed making our own breakfasts and the various welcome drinks in our large fridge. Very friendly staff who gave us a good recommendation for a reasonably priced nearby restaurant to enjoy the local Hida beef (ubiquitous on menus though we never saw a cow!)."
