"This felt like a real home and a nice break from regular hotel rooms. There were a few rough edges, but perfection isn't always preferable to coziness. If we had time to explore the area more we would definitely choose this hotel as our base."

"Just a couple mins walk from JR Shinkansen, inside a small shopping mall with a variety of eateries. Staffs are all very friending. Only comment is the public bath. Wish they provide amenities in the women bath, and a basket to bring towels to the bath. Other than that, stay is very comfortable and would come back again. "

"We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is just a few minutes away from the bus station. About a 15 minute walk to Sanmachi area. They provided yukatas for us to wear. The bath was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our Japanese traditional breakfast. The staff were excellent and attentive. We would recommend staying here if visiting Takayama! "

"Everything perfect. We can go the nearest supermarket to buy some fresh veg and meat to cook in the hotel, very convenient. This is the 3rd time we stayed in this hotel. Walkable to the morning market and heritage street. Walkable Cheap parking nearby for only 300yen from 1800pm to 1000am. Thank you so much for this fabulous stay and will stay again next time."
