Lake Hickory is a hidden gem in North Carolina. Only 45 minutes from Blowing Rock and an hour from Charlotte and Asheville. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Hickory where you’ll find great food and cool shops. This beautiful property on lake Hickory is perfect for families and entertaining. Down by the private pool you will find a charcoal grill, floats, plenty of seating, and a diving board for hours of entertainment! The property has lake access but water is shallow. Access the lake by kayaks and stand up paddle boards (boats are not able to access dock). When the water is low kayaks need to be walked out to deeper water. The property includes kayaks for adults and children. The lake depth fluctuates about 2 feet. There is a small creek that runs under the dock that is fun for kids to explore. Kids can play in the shallow water and catch minnows in the creek. The house is on a dead end road so there is very little traffic.
Downstairs you will find a fireplace with an oak poker table and space to play games. The house has three full bathrooms with showers. There are three bedrooms and a futon in the basement. The yard is perfect for kids to play. “It’s All Good” lake hickory home is an ideal place for families and friends to vacation.

We loved our stay at the Lake house. It was clean, Spacious and had plenty for the whole family to do. The three bathrooms were a big plus when getting the kiddos ready. The property itself was so cute with a fenced in yard which I loved for my littles under 5. The area was really nice as well very quiet and peaceful.

The house was perfect for our family. The pool was a hit with the kiddos. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location of house was easy to find. Shopping center only 5 minutes from house. My family really enjoyed the stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and spent most of it at the private pool. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was well stocked. Nice location close to Hickory and right next to the marina. We hope to come back for a longer stay and get use of the kayaks. Adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

This house was in the perfect location and even better than what we expected. The house was very clean. I would update the pictures on the listing. The pictures look great, but once you are in the house, the house is SOO much nicer.

The TV was not working downstairs would power on but would not give any options for channels or anything. A blow dryer would be nice to have there but we did not find one in any of the bathrooms. But those are minor things overall it was great for our family that stayed and came to visit.

We all had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool everyday and of course the back deck. This is our 2nd year staying here. We have family 30 minutes away and 90 minutes away and they were able to come over each day. The area is super nice and we ate at a great restaurant called FOURK.

The property was very nice!! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool though our week was mostly rain. The house was very comfortable. It was a peaceful place. We loved sitting on the porch, seeing the lake and listening to all the birds. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. It was a great vacation!!

My family and I were looking for a place to vacation in North Carolina to enjoy some cool weather for a break from the Florida heat. This place has great for 5 adults and 2 children’s. Plenty of room for all of us. We really enjoyed looking at the lake view and the year was nice to let the children play. The only negative was a few of the linens and towels had stains on them. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in North Carolina

We had a great time staying at this house . The pool was very clean ! We didn’t get to use the lake much because the access was very low and old. But overall we would definitely come stay here again!!! Thank you for the terrific location to Hickory only 10min drive to the wedding venue!

The weather wasnt ideal so we didnt make use of the pool or lake but made for a lovely view! Other than the cool rainy weekend, had a perfect trip. The tornado warning was a little scary and exciting. Felt safe in a house with a basement!

Our stay was great! The pool was fabulous - clean and well-kept with a beautiful view. They also have a table w/ umbrella and pool toys. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots/pans/cookware needed to make meals. The outdoor patio also looks out onto the lake and is a great place to relax. A gas grill is also on the patio which was a convenient addition. The big screen TV in the living room was a nice addition for when we were done hanging out outside and wanted to wind down. Overall a really lovely place with basically everything you need for a fun-filled weekend getaway.
