"We enjoyed our 4 day stay, It was a momma daughter getaway. We had our coffee on the porch together every morning, listening to the birds and enjoying the amazing view of so many beautiful trees, surrounding the hideaway cabin. We will definitely stay here again."

"Great location. The view is not expansive but it's nice. It was quiet and peaceful, saw several deer down below the house in the mornings. Wish the outdoor area had been a little cleaner/more usable. It's the mountains and the woods - totally get it! Wasn't expecting immaculate. But you could tell a lot of the debris/spider webs/etc had been there for a while so definitely not freshened up for new guests which was a bit disappointing since we chose the home largely for its outdoor space. There were LOTS of spiders! My husband opened the sliding glass door when we arrived and got a huge spider web to the face. Even just a quick brush down with a broom before new guests arrive would be helpful. The top to the hot tub was broken which we were able to make work during our stay but would not be user friendly for anyone older/weaker. I reported this the first day (was not expecting them to fix it that fast, I just didnt want to be charged for it). A small thing of laundry detergent (literally costs around 3.00) would be a nice-to-have amenity since there is a washer/dryer on site and you of course dont realize there is no detergent until you go to do laundry at the end of the day. The road up is quite steep, but paved, just FYI as I know this is always a question I have. All in all a fine stay, we enjoyed ourselves!"

"The host which is a rental company was wonderful to work with. The location of Lake Burton is very special. The cabin itself needs some serious TLC and that is on the owners. I hope they will make the improvements so that this cabin can be enjoyed and be a good overall experience."

"Cute little cabin that was pretty isolated. I have to say they had the most comfortable recliners. I always look for recliners when I booked because of medical issues with my legs and they did not disappoint. The master bed wasn’t the best. It sunk in the middle. We had a few issues but they were on it and communicated well with us. Kitchen was well stocked and the back yard was amazing!"
