"Great views of river"

"My stay was wonderful!! We were in town for the 4th of July to view the fireworks in Alex Bay and this was the closest hotel I could get. While we wanted to do a little sightseeing, I so wish I could have had more time just to spend watching the river, utilizing pool and cooking out on the grill. We did use the firepit, which was great, just don't forget the bug repellent!!! They loved my Pennsylvania skin!! Our room was on the Riverside, but don't be concerned if one isn't available for you, just walk around poolside and enjoy the view!! I would absolutely stay there again!! "

"Was a fantastic experience from the start. Communication was top notch, the house was extremely clean and organized and had a lot more things than I would expect to accommodate the time there. Property was close enough to anything you want to do but far enough that you could relax outside without hearing anything. Will stay here again without a doubt!!"

"Stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. We loved this place everybody was so nice, the breakfast was great. My son loved the beach and kyacks they had out to use for free! Cool playground too! We were a little bummed that the pool was closed bit they say it will open back up with a lazy river! We will be back again! "

"The apartment was pretty nice and spacious and the marina is a very relaxing environment. Whitney was a pleasant host but very busy and not really responsive except for the fact that she was sometimes working in a neighboring cabin and we approached her. The kitchen was okay but not the best equipped and our dishwasher was not working. They had two very nice new queen mattresses and we slept well. There was only one AC unit and it was in the living room. Wifi was downright horrendous and I often got better connectivity by using my phone as a hotspot. Cellular signal was weak but at least it was stable. The TV had no issues with A/V so I don't know how they were streaming. We never got the right key for the door and never could lock up when we left. Whitney said she looked for it but she never found it. I do think there are some things that should be focused on safety-wise. One duplex outlet in the living room has no face plate on it and a child could easily be electrocuted. Also, two windows in our bedroom did not have counterbalances and needed to be propped up. Very nasty if it fell onto your or a child's arm/hand. Those are easy to fix. A few changes could easily rate a much higher rating."

"We reserved this location for our annual family reunion. Our group was 12 people and we had no issues. The house was clean, very well maintained and the layout was great for our group. Plenty of bathrooms, which was important for our group. The house was solid. Our room was on the basement level and we did not hear any footsteps overhead. We were there for the hottest week of the summer, so far, and the climate control handled it just fine. The appliances were modern. The grounds were peaceful and we even caught largemouth bass off the dock! The available kayaks were enjoyed by the younger members of our group, but waters were weedy and no one was tempted to go swimming. Close enough to town, but not a short walk. It was adjacent to a marina, but that posed no problems or issues. The owner was quick to respond to any inquiries we had and easy to deal with. Bottom line: would definitely consider returning here again in the future. Great house!"
