"Perfect location close to beach ,shops and restaurants. Room was adequate for me as a one person traveller it felt safe and there was a lift in the main building .Well serviced daily by housekeeping staff .Aircon vedy effective as it was hot and fee reasonable I was collected from the airport by Mike the barman and returned to airport by Eva the owner which was worth the fee .Staff were all very friendly and helpful and had obviously been at Panorama for many years which tells a good story...

"Wonderful stay at the Mitsis Royal Mare, the room and facilities were elegant and perfectly maintained and all staff were lovely and welcoming. We found the food in the themed restaurants great, maybe they could improve the food options for the main restaurant, especially for vegetarian guests. As in many resorts in Crete there were few stray cats and it was nice to notice one of the staff leaving some food and water available for them. "Outstanding stay. Wonderful helpful family staff who were free to offer advice, great facilities and wonderful sea water pool! easy walk to local restaurants and shops, but far enough away from town so not too busy. "Amazing break at Stella Palace. Everything was super clean, and all the staff we encountered were courteous, happy and helpful. Food is great, but the main buffet restaurant is super busy and can be a little repetitive. Staff do try to make it as pleasant as can be. The option of the a la carte restaurants is a winner! Made the evenings less chaotic than the buffet and the food was lovely. Room clean and tidy, and bottles of water dropped off daily etc. Only thing, if you want to get out and about because the hotel is a little isolated car hire should be considered, because taxis are not cheap, they seem to be €50 each way to go anywhere, which can quickly add up….this is not a fault of the hotel, just something we would consider if we came again."
