"Fantastic 5 night day, we were upgraded to a suite in the adults exclusive area on arrival. The view from our room was stunning. The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much of an ask. The à la carte restaurants served fresh food to a high standard. We shall be back!"

"It is a good hotel. Beautiful location, friendly staff. But for the price and as it is 5 star hotel, i would expect to more. For 5 star hotel i would expect for better food quality, better facilities and fancier rooms! I would be a great for 4 stars hotel."
Axel Beach Crete - Adults Only

"We had a lovely time at Axel. Loved the breakfast choices and the staff were always kind and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was an Axel opening in Crete and I hope it becomes a solid gay destination. I think a shuttle every few hours to the main Hersonisos or even the nudist beach will be a game changer."
Enorme Infinity Beach ex Infinity Blue

"We stayed in a junior suite. Overall the room was lovely and the view over the beach was the best part. As we were in a suite a sofa would have been nice but there was one chair. The staff at Expedia were very good and answered every query efficiently so will definitely be using Expedia again. Also the hotel staff were very polite. The food area were very clean and had a sufficient variety of options every day although there was always a shortage of spoons and cups. Everyone was constantly asking the staff for more of these. Beach towels, you had to pay 2€ to change which was a surprise. There was no bar after 9pm and there was only 2 sofas by the bar to sit after you had eaten. We probably won't stay at this hotel again but overall we had a nice stay."
Abaton Island Resort & Spa

"We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was gorgeous!"

"The pool area is beautiful very comfortable sun loungers, pool was spotless. Reception area is lovely and the staff do their upmost to help with any request. Breakfast is really nice and food is hot! Halfboard was amazing, it was a sit down restaurant style so you could order off a menu, starter salad main course and dessert! Loved the food, again staff were amazing. Rooms could do with an update, we had a lovely upgraded room free of charge facing the pool, it was very clean but the match the overall hotel a small update would be brilliant, Overall I lived this hotel, couldn’t fault it. The local village is just a dream this is why I came back as I loved the village. I was honestly recommend this hotel."
