"It was close to a squat. Broken glass n furniture in common areas. There were 5 hammer marks on the door where someone tried to break in to the apartment. There was a homeless guy living in the stairwell ffs. I had to leave n find somewhere else. Despite telling Expedia all the they have failed to get back to me…."

"The room was not clean and smell bad. Fridge was very dirty so I didn’t want to put anything. Restroom smell was awful and the sink was stuck somewhere. I sent numerous messages and they asked me to send e-mail. I told that I want to cancel the trip but no one respond. They just say that their team is reviewing, but no one replied until I finally check-out and escape. No worth for spending money at all."

There are pretty hikes in the area, and the lakes are pretty to visit. Kevin was very friendly but didn't respond to the last couple of messages I sent (it worked out, because he lives in the house so we saw him and could ask our questions). "We had found a wonderful place. The owner was extremely helpful and showed us around and explained everything. The apartment was as advertised, modern, clean lines and everything worked really well. A beautiful view out of the windows and lovely dogs to greet us. The drive to the apartment is a bit unusual with a steep hill but it was an excellent location. Many cranes flying over, lovely walks and a short walk to the bus stop if you want to go into Aachen. We'll be back. Thank you, Herr...
