"Good hotel service and staff Bit out of town so need to get a cab / uber but free parking is a bonus"

"Lovely hotel and very helpful friendly staff. I booked a classic room which was spacious and nicely presented. Appreciated the addition of room service after a long journey and a well presented breakfast the next morning. Exceeded my expectations actually"

"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

"Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!"

Many pubs and restaurants in town The brewery at pub was excellent and I had a pint there to end my day. The breakfast was awesome every morning. Recommend staying at pubs the staff make everything perfect"

"The perfect place to stay. Easy walking distance into town. Adjacent to the cathedral. Staff were great. The room was very clean and bed amazingly comfortable. Would recommend and will be staying here again."

"The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar. I didn't have the breakfast as...

"King room in the modern accommodation block was small but fine, a good find. Dinner was great pub grub. We hadn’t realised that breakfast is not available (Sun-Fri) but that was also fine."

"Schöne restaurierte Türen mit alten Schlössern. Echt schick!"

"Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean."
