A very authentic pub with a hotel upstairs. Food was top notch and very creative. Great breakfast. What stood out was the people - everyone we encountered working at the establishment went out of there way to make sure we were having a great stay. The proximity to the train staion was perfect - just across the street.

This was an amazing property! Very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very quiet country setting. Definitely a great place for a destination wedding or special event. The art gallery and shop had some really great finds. If we had more time, we would have loved to stay longer:)

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. The food was fantastic & plentiful. It was a friendly and generous attitude. I was treated as family. I was there as memorial to my brother & his wife who lived Brighton; sadly they are both gone ....I really needed that friendliness 😳🌹 thank you

I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat.

Central location to everywhere and great facility to dine in or dine out. Clean and reasonable costs.

Richard & Mark were the perfect hosts! They met us with a warm welcome & made us feel like we were guests in their home. The beach house was perfectly clean and their breakfast was a "Proper English Breakfast." The Seaside path was within walking distance and the view was spectacular. Whenever we asked suggestions for restaurants they were always accommodating. They made us feel like their extended family! Beautiful location, great staff and accommodations, wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Loved the green juice! Easy walk to nearby small village with a high end provisions store and a restaurant the Black Horse. If not driving good access to taxi services and limited uber.

The room was comfortable and quiet, but the highlight was the restaurant. The food was well-prepared and delicious!
