"Property is older. Our toilet was not working when we got to the room. Also tv was out in the whole property. Bed was comfortable. Room was small. Breakfast like most hotels, so so."

"We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Lazy Oaks! The setting is ideal for escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is very remote and surrounded by forrest and wildlife. We have a family member who is profoundly disabled and tends to get very loud at times. No problem in this setting, as one can yell as loud as they can, and it won’t disturb anyone! That alone made this place perfect for us. The view is spectacular. It was wonderful to sit on the porch in the morning overlooking the pond, enjoying coffee and taking in the sounds of nature. We really enjoyed being able to use the rowboat and the paddle boat. We were amazed at how many fish were present and how big they were! Next time we will most definitely bring our fishing poles! We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night, making stores and eating too many!There was good communication from the host and the only surprises were good ones. Thank you so much for the perfect retreat. We’ll be back!"

"I actually had to go out and by clorox wipes and sanitize the entire room. Sticky stuff all over the sink and nightstand, splatters inside the lap shade. Almost like someones soda exploded snd no one cleaned it up. The whole room just looked contaminated. Hair in the shower, nasty baseboard corners in the bathroom. Pay the extra money and say at the hotel next door. "

"Room was clean, bed hurt my back though. Breakfast was nothing special, but good enough. Kids played in the pool, but no chance of adults having a conversation in the pool area, it echoes way too much. Overall, not a bad stay, but not 5 stars worthy either."

"The facility was well stocked with items we used. The master suite was wonderful. Laundry appliances and soap were available - and we used them. Because we were busy in town most of the weekend, we didn't get to use the hot tub, but it was available and ready for us. The host was very easy to reach whenever we had questions."
