In the room the bed was big and comfortable the room was clean and storage adequate. The bathroom was mostly clean though could do with updating. "Staff were superb and food was as excellent as always. Bar furniture looks a little dated and could use a deep clean in places, but very comfortable. Bed was superb and the room excellent. The underfloor heating takes ages to warm the room and as it was very cold, it would have been nicer if it had been turned up a while before arrival. Minor points though. Overall extremely good and we will certainly be back."

"This hotel is under new management and no longer uses OYO as a booking agent. When we arrived OYO had not sent through our booking - this was not hotels.com's fault. The new management team kindly allowed us to stay at no extra cost. I have contacted hotels.com regarding this and hope they will make sure that this hotel is given as much help as possible. The team are working hard to make this a great place to stay."

"Owners could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. We stayed here whilst visiting Thrusford Spectacular show. We had a lovely lunch before we we left for the show all plates were empty and everyone enjoyed the meal. Would highly recommend this friendly in for a stay."

"As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...
