"Booked for a couple of nights as a base for an excursion. Location is close to car parks and the beach/harbour. I selected the twin room as I was traveling with my friend - 2 single beds with complementary drinks in the room and an en suite wet room. We're greeted by staff, who seems to do it all on her own (impressive!). Room was clean and quiet, included WiFi and breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful, offering small selection of pastries and yogurts and offering a variety of cooked breakfast options. Perfect stay for what was needed and incredibly well priced (especially for peak season). Very accommodating to me asking if I could leave my luggage there for an hour after checkout so I didn't have to walk up the hill with it! Awesome, will happily stay again"

"The apartment was light and airy. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and very easy to park in the nearby car park. All in all, a very pleasant stay... The only thing that might be a problem for some is climbing the staircase with luggage and I don't remember reading anything about multiple flights of stairs."

"The accommodation was right on the beach. The rooms were well equipped and everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing four days away. The view of the beach was beautiful and listening to the sea in the early morning was so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and kept the site very clean and tidy. A very peaceful time for my wife and I. Thank you."

"I would love to keep this gem of a find a secret but that wouldn’t be fair to them!! Sharon and Daryl are so welcoming we felt we had known them for many years, great knowledge and ideas where to go as we hadn’t been to Ilfracombe before. The room spotless with the most comfortable super Kingsize bed and the bathroom amenities were so gorgeous I’ve googled where to source! Where do I start with the breakfast it’s obviously locally sourced as it was absolutely delicious!!! Sharon and Susan give you a super morning greeting and nothing is too much trouble… coffee yummy too!! Can’t wait to return as said by the other guests we met at breakfast!!"

"This is a good, reliable, clean, budget place to stay. We used it when walking Stage 4 of the SW Coast Path - very convenient. Easy to park round the corner at Ropery Road car park. Hearty breakfast available (actually at sister hotel, The Royal Britannia Hotel opposite) overlooking the harbour. We had a fantastic meal at 'Giovanni and Luca' Italian restaurant nearby (booking essential in summer)."
