"The property is a lot bigger than the photos portray. Very spacious. There were also two single beds as well as a double in the area upstairs. Very tranquil surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...

"The Stables Cottage includes a foyer, eat-in kitchen, sitting room, and bathroom with tub and shower downstairs. The two bedrooms were upstairs plus a bathroom with shower only. We loved every minute. The kitchen had an apartment size/dorm-size refrigerator, double oven with 4-burner stove top, small sink with spigot and dish-drying rack, dishwasher, and washing machine. "Lovely spacious well-heated house in beautiful countryside. We had a week of snowy weather which was heavenly. Edward, the owner was extremely helpful. He towed out some cars which got stuck in the car park by the house, provided lots of logs, replaced the washing machine which had problems and was generally a great help. This is a house for people who like old books and furnishings...don't go there if you want modern posh."

"Beautiful, peaceful, cosy. I could go on. The cottage was modern and cosy at the same time. There was a welcome hamper which contained a variety of items which would allow you to eat if you’d brought nothing with you including a cuppa or cappuccino ( with pain au chocolat). The host welcomed us and was available and asked how things were in passing. I would recommend this property and location to anyone. We had a wonderful time."

"Enjoyed our stay in this country pile. The owner was friendly and helpful and the location was great. We enjoyed a walk around the loch and the views. House decently equipped for self-catering. The issue was the agent company who are managing the property - they failed to update the details on the heating contribution costs, send us any info about how to check-in or pass on the owners details or the owners request for our bank details to return the deposit. "
