"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"At first the owner could not meet us the agreed at check-in time. We had to protest in order to check-in as planned. The we were criticised for the state of the property, by mail after we had left , - the owner were not present at check-out time. We had only slept, eaten breakfast and showered."

"What an amazing stay we had! All the modern amenities within a cozy and private cabin. Perfect location for hiking and exploring the surrounding trails and towns. Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! "This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

"This is a charming little house with old bones and modern comforts (plumbing, windows, cooktop). You can hear the village church bells and the swifts that nest in the eaves.
