"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Just a lovely gite inside Turckheim’s old walls, wonderful shower, nice kitchen, very quiet and comfortable, plenty of space for a couple with a few small kids. The only negative was limited parking right near the gite, but plenty of parking a 3-4 minute walk away just outside the old town wall. We’ll definitely be going back here!!"

"We have stayed at many VRBOs before and this was one of the nicest ones. It was a bit more remote than the description "Schopfheim" suggests but you can see it if you actually look at the map. It is perfect if you are into hiking and the outdoors. We were there with three generations: us, our kids and our grandkids. "This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

"We had a wonderfull time staying in Jacqueline 's place. The house is cosy and confy , jacqueline was a attentionated host, the house was decorated for christmas and she baked some delicious biscuit for ourself and our dog.the location is perfecg for visiting all the stunning village around and their christmas market. A lovely area surrended by montain and nature. We strongly recommand."
