"Hotel Kolding has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is a modern hotel situated directly across the road from the station. Just behind the hotel is a beautiful lake, ideal for an enjoyable stroll. The town centre is a few minutes walk with a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room we had was a decent size with a couple of armchairs and a coffee table in addition to a desk and chair. The bed was extremely comfortable with a pair of lovely fluffy pillows each plus cushions. The ultra modern bathroom had a good selection of towels, toiletries, tissues plus underfloor heating. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant offered a good selection of hot and cold items and drinks with everything looking fresh and inviting. We would definitely recommend this hotel and be more than happy to return should we be in the area again."
