"We stayed here for two nights. It was very clean and spacious. The only downside we had was the celling leaking due to a crack and people above us leaving the shower running which flooded. However, Fatima was absolutely fantastic and dealt with the incident quickly. Looking forward to staying there again soon. Would definitely recommend. "

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"The little flat was spot on . The owner was on the end of the phone if u needed to ask any questions. The small town of Bury St Edmunds is beautiful. They had a great little market . And we visited the smallest pub in Britain The people were very polite and friendly. We have family there . So we will be visiting more frequently . Thanks great host."

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"Over all the house is nice but there is several factors that seriously it down.Cleaning - It needs a thorough deep clean. The bbq is filthy, outdoor kitchen area is covered in a layer of dirt. Kitchen cutlery was dirty, glasses the same. Toaster was rotten and the oven grill was dirty. Washing machine stank of mould and even after running it on a hygiene cycle twice it still stank! "This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff are most welcoming, as are the locals. The hospitality, food and beers are all excellent. The hotel building, bar, restaurant and grounds are most pleasant. The cuisine was served quickly and is very tasty. It is in a lovely place, which is quiet and also not too far from the town. It is also easily accessible. Very easy going and no complications. If I go to Ipswich again I will stay at The Sorrell Horse again!"
