"Loved the character of inside the building. It is having redecoration done but didnt intrude with stay. The room was enough and had a lovely picturesque view. The room did get very warm during the night but we judt opened the window a little. Breakfast buffet was well organised and really good. The dining room setting was really nice."

"Fantastic stoped 😀 to see the Kelpies and Falkirk wheel. We stayed for two nights. Staff excellent they make your experience 😁. Had my first facial, Our dog loved it. Only thing to let them down was there breakfast full English for the price it was very greesey my potato scones was limp with greesey."

"Good location at the top of town. Could leave car parked and walk to seafront easily through the town centre. Was close to Stephen Joseph Theatre where we saw a show. Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Wetherspoons just round the corner for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable but wish I'd spotted the blackout blind before I went bed."

"We had a comfortable room. We slept well in the comfy bed, with lovely white cotton sheets. Thd bathroom looked like if had been recently furnished. There was a bath with overhead shower, which worked well. The tiwrld were nice white bath sheds, and a smaller one for hair drying. We had tea snd coffee making facilities Hairdryer provided. And a TV on the wall. The staff were all efficient and friendly in every area. Nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast twice , and evening meal twice. The food was very good each time. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend time near Whitby. It is conveniently located near a big Sainsbury’s supermarket, and a Lidl. It took us around 25 mins to walk into Whitby. But we took a taxi one time. And drive ourselves too. "
