"We stayed in the White Swan part of the lodge which is said to be 100 meters from main building. I was expecting this to be in the grounds but it is a walk down the main road which was having road works done so difficult with cases and having to walk on the road. The room itself was clean and large. The restaurant back in the main lodge was small and quaint. The menu was your basic foods such as lasagna or roast dinner all served by a lovely young waitress. Staff were all extremely helpful."
"Lovely old pub with an excellent drinks selection, especially cask beers. Stayed B&B and was good value for money. The room was comfortable but needed a bit of tlc, especially the bathroom. The breakfast choice was good and the full Yorkshire was cooked to perfection. Also ate in the restaurant twice and can highly recommend. Overall a great break in a lovely pub hotel."
