"The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the expected amenities. There were no staff on site (the key is left in a lock box). I stayed on Monday night, the restaurant is closed on Mondays (hence no interaction with staff). "An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

"A really lovely place and Gigi was just an amazing host. Super kind and helpful. If I was in the area again I would come straight back here, I wouldn’t even look elsewhere x"

There are steps down to the flat, so was grateful for hosts who helped with luggage. The shower is over the bath just in case that is useful information. Beds very comfortable and...
