"What a great historic, charming cottage! We were able to spread out as a family of 4, enjoy common areas together and truly be comfortable. We were attending a wedding at the Waucoma Event Center, and enjoyed the close proximity. A great touch was the amount of coffee pods and having paper to go cups. As a coffee drinker who almost always has a to go cup, it was nice to not have to bring one, or buy one. We loved thiss VRBO and if we find our way back to NE Iowa, we would happily stay again."

"Everyone at Hotel Capone was so friendly. The room had everything I needed for a good night's rest. The bed was so comfy. Make sure to check out the restaurant downstairs as well. It is delicious!"

"My son and I stayed 6 nights in an accessible room. The website mentions that you have to request housekeeping during longer stays, but even when we did, we found the service a bit unpredictable. There was no niche or shelf for toiletries in the shower, which was inconvenient. Of the five staff members I spoke to during the visit, only one graced us with a smile while we were there. The breakfast was ok, but only one day offered scrambled eggs and sausage; the biscuits and gravy on the other days were not as welcome. Fortunately, the waffle maker remained a reliable alternative. My grandsons loved the pool, which helped make up for some of the other shortcomings, and the location was very convenient. Unfortunately, the town is too small to offer any real competition and the place feels like it."

"This place was one of the nicest, well stocked VRBO’s that we have ever rented. Location was close enough to towns. This place worked great for our group (3 couples). I would highly recommend this VRBO to others! Enjoy!"
