"We have stayed here before and love the hotel. The only problem this time was that bar food is advertised and on the first full day we asked and were told there was none on offer.We had no alternative than to pay for one main course each. More food than we wanted at a much higher price."

"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this hotel soon! "
