"Lovely hotel. Clearly in the middle of an upgrade. The room was brand new but the hallways and stairs were very 70s and worn. The staff were brilliant but burnt out. Example: I asked the receptionist about the bar being open and when I went to the bar (which is a maze like 5/10 mins walk away) the same person from reception popped up to serve me! 😅 it was like they were doing 5 jobs as one person. The food was Excellent and the alcohol very well priced. All in all I would go back for sure. 👍"

"I have stayed here a few times now and never been disappointed. The staff have always been happy to help, and incredibly polite and professional. The rooms are clean and a good size, the car park large and spacious, and the breakfast service a highlight. I particularly want to highlight how helpful the service staff were during breakfast; especially as I have coeliac disease and have to be very careful about what I eat and how the food is prepared. It was also a lovely surprise that the kind lady at the breakfast check-in remembered me from the previous year visit. Recommended!"

"The hotel was lovely for our stay. The breakfast was good and included options for gluten free. There were a few spots that needed a little attention in my room mostly on the baseboards, the nightstand between the 2 beds had a broken shelf, and the restaurant service was a little slow but the food was filling the first time we went, the second time they were maybe busy but they put 5 shavings of cheese on my cheesy garlic bread and the soup was watered down, however I would definitely stay again"

"Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."
