"This property is beautiful and very clean. The location is perfect. We enjoyed every part of the property. The pool, pier, kayaking, bicycling and the boat dock. A lot of fishing off that boat dock and searching for manatees. We were very exciting when we saw a couple of manatees! Love Placencia and Sunset Pointe!"

"Beautiful setting with very helpful and pleasant staff. The setting was perfect. We spent many hours sitting on our patio watching the sunrise or just reading. (Bring bug repellent) It is a fifteen minute drive to Placencia Village, so keep that in mind. You will need a golf cart or a car during your stay. "I’m a very easy-going person and I’m understanding of one-offs and little issues, it can actually make travel fun and memorable. This trip caused nothing but stress. The local staff actually got us a coffee maker on day 2 (ours was missing on arrival, though our friends’ unit had theirs so it wasn’t a big deal). "The townhouse was very nice. I guess we missed in the description that you could only go by pontoon to town as this is on an island. Also, make sure you tell your taxi driver to take Sunset Point Road - we don't know where the name Manatee came into place and our taxi wanted to take us to the Manatee Inn which is not the right place."

"We loved just about everything during our stay here. We loved being by the beach, hearing the waves and watching the sunrise in the mornings. The grounds and the pool are all beautiful and well maintained. The home was fairly well stocked, though the place says it sleeps 4-6 and there were only enough dishes for 4. "The property was absolutely amazing and everything we hoped for. We rented the entire property for a large family celebration and it worked out perfectly for people of all ages.
