"This was a very nice and charming place for 2 couples. If there is only one complaint to be had it would be the access road to the property. Riddled with clay pot holes that take a toll on your re Tal vehicle and your neck. The property itself is very nice and accommodating. We were easily picked up at the dock by our chartered boat that took us to the many Keys in Placencia. I would come back here."

"Beautiful setting with very helpful and pleasant staff. The setting was perfect. We spent many hours sitting on our patio watching the sunrise or just reading. (Bring bug repellent) It is a fifteen minute drive to Placencia Village, so keep that in mind. You will need a golf cart or a car during your stay. "We stayed 12 days at Beachside and already plan on returning. The unit was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fabulous deep porch! Units do vary in porch size so look at the photos. "Wonderfully located a close distance to the main town of Placencia. This property was super unique and tucked back far enough you felt like you were super secluded. The accommodations were great and the staff attended to any issue that arose. Make sure to take the hummingbird highway down if you drive from the city. Also, don't forget to stop for tamales at Mrs. Betha's at mile-marker 26 on your way down. A couple of quick notes, you are in a tropical location, so we did have some little ants...

"The townhouse was very nice. I guess we missed in the description that you could only go by pontoon to town as this is on an island. Also, make sure you tell your taxi driver to take Sunset Point Road - we don't know where the name Manatee came into place and our taxi wanted to take us to the Manatee Inn which is not the right place."
