"Quick overnight stay, hotel well placed for Sunday afternoon on the Pier and close to the Congress Theatre for my evening concert, likewist 15 odd min walk from Eastbourne Train Station, Stff very helpful, bed room reasonale size with large bathroom (with bath). Coffee/ tea etc in room. Room nice and warm overnight (didn't try T.V. but used the fridge). Will definately book there again if a concert comes up."

"The hotel’s location was excellent, right in the town centre and next to the sea. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a great choice of both hot and continental options. The room was spacious and a good size, but unfortunately, it was not well maintained. It looked like the room had not been decorated or properly maintained for quite some time and would definitely benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom was one of the highlights, as it was spacious and had both a bathtub and a shower, giving you the option of either. Although the hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel, based on my experience, I would rate it closer to 3 stars. The excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast and spacious bathroom were all positives, but the overall condition and maintenance of the room let the hotel down."
