"Filthy kitchen, filthy fridge, smelly microwave. You could not use any of the crockery unless you washed it first. The crockery was put back in the cupboards unwashed. There was no hot water. The kitchen cupboards had sticky handles and I felt simply unclean being there. I booked 6 nights but left in the morning after the first night. I’ve seen reviews of this place a year old echoing my comments so the owner takes no notice of reviews. Beware. "

"Lovely old Manor House hotel. Conveniently located, good parking and very friendly, helpful staff. My room was good, all the linen was clean and it was perfect for my stay. Cleaners could dust slightly better but overall, no big problem. I would definitely stay again. "
