"We spent 5 beautiful days at the chalet. There were 6 of us (all adults, all family) and everything was perfect. Beatrice was a wonderful host who made us feel welcome. She was super helpful and always responsive to our questions and accommodating to our needs. The house left absolutely nothing to be desired. Nice hotel in excellent location

"Excellent location / friendly staff / good room / older hotel but well maintained / comfortable bed / included a ticket for public transport during the stay which i think is a great idea / we had a room towards the front therefore it was a bit noisy from the Trams in front of the hotel but that did not bother us. "

GAIA Hotel Basel - the sustainable hotel

"Our one-night stay was perfect. The entire staff was lovely. Our room was perfectly clean and bright. We were offered one-time half price tickets to local venues which we took advantage of. Breakfast was superb in a most beautiful dining room. "
