The Douglas Hotel

3.0 star property

"If I could give this place a 0 I would. We booked for 14 nights due to a work trip. We ended up spending 1 night in this hotel and left. It was filthy, it was horrid and it was just not up to any standards of a hotel. It seemed like a half way house - disgusting. I have attached some photos. We requested a refund for the 14 days as we only did one day here and we weren't allowed a refund. Expedia wouldn't even refund us. We will not be using Expedia ever again. Do not allow your

Hardwicke Hall Manor Hotel

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (256)
"Lovely experience staying at an English manor. It has easy parking and a great garden to stroll on. it is
family friendly
and we liked the personal touch with video game setup in the room for the
kids
. Breakfast and meals are available. It is bit remote set in the village and it is not a 24-hour manned lobby so it is well suited for couples looking for a quiet time./"
