2/10 Terrible

"I use this hotel every year when family comes to town. When I went to check in, I was informed that there is a $200 deposit on each room. That was after I said excuse me, because I didn’t understand any of what the clerk was saying. I had booked several rooms. My cousin called and said the room had an odor and the television was not working. With anger showing on the clerks face, he finally figured out the cord was missing. Same cousin called me crying because they had double booked her room. While she was getting dresses, someone came in. I’ll never spend my money there again. The hotel must have a new owner because it was never this bad off."

"When we checked in Mike was great and was very friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the seat in the shower was not securely attached to the wall in the accessible shower. My son was able to stop himself from falling and getting hurt. When I told the girl at the front desk all she would say was ok. There was never an apology or asked if he was hurt, she didn’t seem to care. She was also there in the morning for breakfast and would roll her eyes when someone asked her for something that was food related."

"The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was not appetizing at all. They need to do a better job at keeping it full with food, and clean from the START of breakfast through the END of breakfast. Every single table had crumbs and grease on them. I poured hot water on mine to clean it off."

"Absolutely wonderful, secluded little place to stay! I was a little worried with it being right next to Lowe’s, but I hardly noticed at all! And to be honest I didn’t even know there was a hotel back there! Surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect little hidden getaway! Building was well maintained and super clean, very very quiet inside, lovely gas fire out on the patio. All in all an excellent stay!"

"The hotel was built in the 70’s and you can tell when you’re inside. We stayed for three nights and housekeeping did not visit our room once. The internet was spotty. Breakfast was not very good. The property is large and looks abandoned in many spots with no lights on. My room key stopped working multiple times."
