"Poor value for money - very overpriced. However, if money is not an issue, then the property is large, bedrooms are clean and large and the place is in beautiful countryside with knock-out views. The rooms downstairs are small for large group of people."

"Above a pub, but the music and noise stopped bang on 11pm, which I thought was reasonable."

"Very nice apartment, very big with ample facilities. Just a little more cleaning to sofa covers and mattress cover in sofa would have made it better as ours were dirty. Restaurant was amazing and great for gluten free and bar was lovely too. Overall very comfortable stay"

"Great location with plenty of parking and EV chargers which was very handy for us. Check in was handled efficiently with polite staff. Room was fine, some questionable carpet stains but generally clean and comfortable. A good hotel for a stopover in the area."

"Stayed 1 night as attending a wedding nearby. Room was lovely, clean tidy and warm. Thank you for the little welcome note and chocolates, a really nice touch.. Impressed with the bathroom, very clean and shower was great. Breakfast was really good, prompt service and staff greeted us warmly. Lovely lady in Reception who chatted with us. Would definitely recommend as can't find anything to fault."

"The deluxe room (labeled "Penthouse") was quirky being up several stairs and was in the roof with dormer windows. It had too much furniture in it for the size. Ok for just a 1-night stay. Breakfast wasn't anything to shout about and was overpriced. Overall, we thought that the price for the room and the breakfast was too high. we didn't use the spa or the pool (maybe they merit the price for some people). The location suited our purposes, but we probably won't stay there again."

"Very dated place"

"Really lovely welcome and high standard of accommodation. Gorgeous setting and beautiful warm building."

"Great staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, easy parking, lovely food in the restaurant. Will definitely look to return if staying in the area again."

"The hotel bar and restaurant are cozy and comfortable, the bedrooms are a little tired and our tv didn’t work which for a trip away actually wasn’t a bad thing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. Great location for all local spots in Lichfield."

"Great stay in a great location."

"Great property with helpful staff especially Beverly on reception"

"The staff here are lovely, the 2 guys who served us in the restaurant were exceptional. Rooms are ok however, my stepdad staying in one of the disabled rooms had no heating as radiator wasnt working. We did mention this to staff but not fixed. Had my stepfather stayed in one of the outbuildings as originally allocated, it would have been extremely difficult to push him as outside is gravel. Were his room was situated, turning the corner from the ramp to his room was tight The best part was the...

"Definitely would stay again / lovely place, friendly, clean, nice basic bangers and mash. Plenty free parking. Live band in the bar, couldn’t ask for more during my stay."
