The Spring River Stonehouse Inn, Lydia's Room

The Spring River Stonehouse Inn is a historic well known home listed on the National Historic registry. Large oak trim throughout the home. Large front and side porch as well as 1200 sq foot deck on the back to just sit and relax.

Welcome to Lydia's Room at the Spring River Stonehouse Inn!

Located in the heart of historic downtown Hardy, Arkansas, Lydia's Room offers a cozy, private retreat with easy access to everything this charming town has to offer. Situated right in the middle of Spring River Country, you can park your car and explore local shops, eateries, and even take a peaceful stroll along the beautiful, emerald green Spring River.

Lydia's Room includes everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, a pedestal sink, a queen-sized bed, and streaming internet TV. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of adventure.

Conveniences
The coffee bar in the dining room is stocked with a continental breakfast, including oatmeal, grits, breakfast bars, and plenty of snacks. You’ll also find fresh fruit, bagels, and a variety of coffee creamers available for your convenience.

For added comfort, the small refrigerator in the living room has complimentary bottled water. If you're staying with us for five days or more, you'll have access to laundry facilities located in the basement.

We’re excited to share that we've recently updated the mattresses, toppers, pillows, blankets, and sheets, along with fresh new bathroom towels, to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Guest Access
Getting to Lydia's Room is easy! You’ll enter the Inn through a keypad at the main entrance, and then head down the hallway to your private room, which is locked for your security and peace of mind.

Other Things to Note
There are three family-owned restaurants within walking distance of the Inn, including one that serves breakfast and lunch, an authentic Thai spot, and a catfish restaurant. If you're craving fast food, McDonald's is also just down the street. For other dining options, Ash Flat is about 10 miles away.

Loved every minute of our time here. The hosts were warm and inviting while still giving us our privacy. The house was beautiful and our room (Becca’s room) was perfect for us with the private entrance. Bed was super comfy. We will definitely come back and stay when in area again

Wonderful weekend getaway!

This house is absolutely beautiful! Hardy is quaint, and the hosts were so very welcoming and helpful! We have property in the area and come to town often. This is the first time we have stayed at the Inn-but we will be back! My husband enjoyed reading in the morning in the living room and I absolutely love that they have a reverse osmosis water system available so I don’t have to try to find safe bottled water to drink while we’re in town! The house is right next The Corner Booth-our favorite breakfast spot, and the deck is extremely nice to sit ok when it’s cooler outside! I use a wheelchair outside the home but not inside, and I was able to use Becca’s room without any issues. The bathroom was perfect for me with a stand up shower that is very easy to get in and out of. Overall-highly recommended!!
