The stay here was great! We will be back. We had the 1 bedroom suite for our family of 4 and it worked out perfect for us. It had a kitchen and everything you needed to cook with and dishes plus towels for both pool and bath. They thought of everything! We Just brought our own food to cook and drinks as they do not offer any at this resort. You need to drive out to buy food and only few places will deliver. The surrounding areas are beautiful lands of farms, peaceful and quiet and a cute little town in Galena that you can walk around with lots of boutique shops and some restaurants. Everything closes down by 5pm for the most part there, except maybe the restaurants. We were very impressed with the landscape of the whole area and outdoor activities. The resort was kept very clean and it was not so crowded so we had the use of the pool and game room almost to ourselves most of the time. Staff and even guests were very friendly. The only thing was their issue with lady bugs. Apparently it's an issue they have during this season. So we saw them throughout the resort and a few in our room but it wasn't that bad and they are harmless.
Definately stay here if you want to enjoy the outdoors or need a quiet and relaxing vacation.
