"Basic but clean. Staff, friendly and helpful. Bed was okay, sheets were a bit itchy. Breakfast was better than average and coffee was great!"

"The room was not clean. Broken curtains and rods. Crooked lamp shades. Not clean looking at all. Not nice bedding and untidy. No housekeeping. Had to use all wet towels the second day nor did they tidy up the bed. Breakfast was not good. I will not recommend or go back there. Could not understand people working the desk. I most likely would have left but the cost was not refundable. I would not expect this at a Best Western."

"Staff was great. Rooms were clean. Free breakfast was good."

"This is a hole in the wall inn. Very quaint and simple. I am not one looking for large rooms or a lot of amenities. We look for a clean room, comfortable bed, safe surroundings, and a nice hot shower. There is a bar/restaurant attached to the Inn, but the 2 nights we stayed, there was no problems. Very nice place to stay."

"Coffee and breakfast areas were very well appointed and stocked."

"Did not receive the room that I booked through website. Booked two beds and only received one. Room was also handicap accessible which had bench in tub so was not able to use the tub after a long day of driving. The breakfast was just blah and definitely nothing special. Whirlpool would turn off it seemed after 5 minutes and it was extremely annoying to have to get out so often to turn back on. Room was hot on first arrival and took about 2 hours to come down to temperature and the carpet...

"loved my stay here!! will be back. highly recommend. cute getaway for me and my boyfriend"

"Easy check in, helpful staff, very clean room, nice size. .Breakfast not that good, only hot thing was waffles."

"Not very clean, gnats in the room. No breakfast available, and no one at counter to check out at 8:15am."

"My family and I were in the area for a cross-country event. Our suite was clean and spacious with two bathrooms. My kids had fun swimming in their large pool. My only complaint really is that there was not much of a selection for the continental breakfast. Just cereal and waffles, but their a KwikTrip across the street with great selections. If your in the area try Tulum mexican restaurant. Lots of food for a fair price."

"The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool water was amazingly warm, that's hard to find in hotels. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The only downside is that they do not have an elevator which was rough with so much heavy luggage. Other than that I would recommend this hotel 100%."

"Building is a little run down."

"So I don't ask for much in a cheap motel but it should be clean and maintained. The negative- no room number on the door no hand soap in bathroom sink soap dispenser in shower. Hasn't been used in years. - empty. Toilet paper dispenser - empty roll in it, 1 -3/4 full roll on back of toilet tank bathroom vent very dirty with dust. ac unit very dirty with dust. shower floor non slip strips missing and in disrepair/ need new ones laid down sheets were surely not changed . found black...

"Budget friendly"

"Room floor was very dirty, turning the bottoms of my feet black with only minutes of walking in the room. Bathroom had no fan and was very rusty. The whole room had an awful smell from something cooked in the room previously. Could hear guests in other rooms very easily, AC unit let in water when raining."

"It’s an old property, but it didn’t smell old & musty. Clean. Owner was pleasant and allowed us an early check-in, so we could drop off our luggage. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m passing through. Much appreciation Hilltop."
