"We rented this place because it was close to where our friends live in Hampstead. It was clean, airy and bright. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Tube stop was very close. We had a nice walk up into Hampstead Heath, and ate in a local Italian place nearby, but most of our time we spent in central London. We really enjoy London. and , if we visit again, we will rent this place again."

"First off, Lorenzo was the quintessential host - knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't hesitate to help us with anything we needed. He truly went above and beyond. "Great property, fun to be in an old row house, but since it’s three old row houses put together it’s a bit wonky of a maze and the stairs are definitely steep. The proper English breakfast was good, the room was cleaned every morning and restocked with more tea and coffee. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s right by the underground and great for getting places. Would definitely recommend this property."

"A clean room and comfortable beds for reasonable fees in this beautiful and fascinating Victorian building. Breakfast in their restaurant was hearty and delicious and totally worth it. Location is close to Tube and buses, easy walks. All staff was friendly and helpful. That said the doors are all very substantial and you hear people opening and closing doors at all hours. Overall A- and I would definitely stay here again."

"This "hotel" is more like a building full of studio apartments. Having an actual closet and kitchen area was amazing in London, especially at this price. However, as I learned the hard way, reception isn't staffed after 6 at night. DO NOT lose your key.
