"I come to NY every 2 weeks and I always like to try new Hotels. The bed is very comfortable and the room was very clean. I had a nice view from my room so I really enjoyed that. The staff checking in bags and opening the door are all so so friendly. I felt it was a good location to get away from alot of the busy streets as you get more into the city. Easy walk to Grand Central and some good coffeeshops. I would stay here again. "

"The Shorthills is very convenient, the facilities are good and the food is excellent. However, I changed my plans and only stayed 4 nights and not 5 and they refused to refund me, as I was an expedia customer. Also, since I last stayed there they have stopped doing a continental buffet breakfast and its order only, which is not great in the morning when you are in a rush. "
