Luxury Chalet in Obertraun with Pool

"This property is beautiful, however be aware that you need to pay for every little thing once on site. If you run out of soap, dishwasher pods, want clean towels, or in our case, need more toilet paper, it all costs extra. I don’t mind having to pay for some things, but I’ve never been asked to pay for toilet paper anywhere else in the world and I have to say, it slightly soured my experience. The property is beautiful and the staff were great, I just think for the price I should not have to buy my own toilet paper. "

Million dollar view!
"I booked this apartment for the view and the price. The view was so amazing, almost the best in town I'll bet. This is an apartment, not a hotel, so don't expect amenities. (I did not). 2 bedrooms and a bath. The beds were comfortable and clean. The pictures are accurate. It was very humid when we stayed. A fan would have been a great addition..Communications with the property were very good. Someone in the cafe next door was very helpful with our questions. You do have to carry your luggage up the one steep flight of stairs. Apartment is a few steps to the city bus, approx 15 --20 minute walk to town (right on the lake). A market is across the street. LOVED our stay there."

A little piece of heaven!
"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room.
Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! The place itself is on the small side, but still comfortable. There is a toilet and sink behind a door on one side of the bed and a shower and sink, no door, on the other side. There is also a table and two chairs, a very big armoire and a desk. The bed is very comfortable. There is a table and chairs on the balcony. The chairs are not the greatest however. It would have been nice to have pillows on them. Also, a mini-fridge would be a great addition.
The location is fantastic, within walking distance of everything! There is a grocery store across the street. We had breakfast at the Seeside Café: great food, excellent price!
Overall, you will not be disappointed!"
