"The hotel was beautiful, The room with futon were big and nice. The onsen was nice. The staff was nice, initially, untill they lied to us by telling us they would send our luggage to our next hotel, and it would get there late the same day. It didn't. When I asked they said the person in charge of that wasn't there, that it was normal to take up ton2-3 days (which is probably true, but they should have told us so we could have made an informed decision) we ended up in a different city with no clothes pijamas, toiletries, etc for a day and a half) they did not offer any compensation"

"A little hard to find, would definitely recommend a car but the room we had was a 3 floor condo. There was a room on the top floor which sleeps 3 on mattress on tatami mats, and 3 on a walk out lower level. The mattresses were comfortable but low ( I think they also offer European style beds) but we wanted a traditional experience. On the main level, there was a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, a 6 seater dining table and a small couch with a tv. There is also a balcony on this level. We had a bathroom with both a shower and deep tub and a separate toilet. There was plenty of room. There are several separate buildings in this hotel ( not recommended for those with mobility issues). In the main building they have a public onsen which becomes a private onsen after 10pm. You can book it for 1/2 hour intervals on check in. When it’s private you can have both male and female in the same onsen ( so my husband and I, along with the kids could all enjoy the experience together). Staff was sparse but helpful. Overall we had a great time and we even got to see Mt Fuji from the balcony early in the morning before it was covered by clouds."

"My group stayed at Villa H. Clean room and has the basic amenities. The location was convenient to other areas. We used a rental car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Villa H was placed above another loft, so getting our larger luggage was a bit difficult, but we were aware of the room placement so no issues at all. Overall we really enjoyed the Villa and location. Thank you!"
