"Wow... what a difference. We stayed at GWL MN for a week before heading to this one and it was a total nightmare. The place was chaos, from the quality of the room to the staff to the pool. Everything was so bad. I was contemplating cancelling my reservation here and just going somewhere else but Im very glad I didnt. This location was a stark contrast from the MN location. It was CLEAN, the staff was very young but SO RESPECTFUL, accommodating and attentive. The water park was operated professionally and everything went above and beyond our expectations. If we ever decide to visit the GFL again, it will be the Gurnee location. Thanks for everything. "

"The hotel is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is construction going on and they are painting the outside so it looks a little run down from the outside but once you are inside it is completely different. We had no issues with noise even though they are remodeling some areas. I would stay again if I come back to the area."
