***Beginning in October 2025, only one elevator is planned to be operational in the building during the elevator modernization project. The modernization is expected to take approximately 24 weeks. In December 2025, the elevator in the club building will be out of service, and the gym and all club building units will only be accessible via the stairs. It will last approximately 7 weeks. These dates are subject to change.***

Seawind 1702 is a three-bedroom, two-bath condo located in the heart of Gulf Shores with amazing Gulf-front views from the 17th floor.

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and the primary bedroom

• Tile flooring is throughout the unit

• The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need in your home away from home. The dining room table seats six, and there are four bar stools for additional seating.

• A full-size washer and dryer are inside the unit

• The living room has a sofa sleeper

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• The bunk room has a set of twin bunk beds. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• A maximum of two cars is allowed. Guests are required to purchase parking passes and armbands at Seawind upon arrival (Parking passes - $50/each, limit 2 & armbands - $2/each limit 8) (cash or check only)

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

What a wonderful property! We typically spend fall break in Fort Myers Beach Fl. This year we had to quickly change plans due to Hurricane Ian. We had no issues booking this condo last minute. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach which was right outside! Would certainly visit again.

We had a pretty good vacation. The rental company was great to work with and had a very easy check in process. Our rental was very clean and roomy for 8 people!! My complaint would be that the security staff are a bit rude at Seawind and the elevators kept breaking down which made it very hard to get back and forth on the 17th floor!

The 3rd "bedroom" was a 7.5 x 9.5 room with bunkbeds and no closet!! This was not made clear at booking! We were 3 couples and it didn’t work. The bunk mattresses were worn out as was all the living area furniture and both the range and dishwasher. The location and kitchen essentials were excellent.

The location was great , was just as advertised. The only thing that was horrible was the incident with the running water on the property. We had been notified that the water was going to be shut off from 10 pm till midnight the first night of our stay, for routine maintenance, that wasn’t the issue , we did not have running water back on till 9 am the next day. The city had turned on at street level but the property manager did not turn the water on to the property till 9 am. Kinda ruined the first night, could not even shower

Our family stayed at Seawind 1702 for a week. We could not have been happier with the view, the white sand beach, and the proximity to good restaurants. The communication with the management was thorough as well. The condo also has 2 decent size rooms and 1 room with bunk beds for kids... and even has a foldout couch for families who may be larger. What we especially liked were all the amenities in the kitchen and how clean the place was. My wife doesn't like dirt or clutter and this place doesn't have any of that. Plus, the Wi-Fi is very good - we have teenagers... :) We have no concerns and would definitely go back to Seawind 1702 - we recommend it for families. Matt

The unit was as pictured furniture was dated but fine for a short weekend trip. Everything in the unit worked great and was clean upon arrival. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the location of the unit was perfect! The only downfall was the elevator, it stopped working several times throughout the stay. One morning it was down for so long we left to find something to do before we can came back and had to walk up the stairwell. Usually it wouldn’t bother me taking the stairs but being on the 17th floor with children and two older family members it wasn’t feasible to walk up and down them every time the elevator stopped working. It started working better Sunday but was still on and off the whole time or only one would work for the entire complex. I will say it seems like maintenance responded quickly when it went down. This would probably be the only draw back from booking this unit again.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway to Seawind 1702. The condo is a great size and had a space for everyone to relax. The balcony was a great treat as well and we loved spending time out there. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked, although we did notice half of the toaster didn't work. There were plenty of amenities for families to enjoy. Unfortunately the splash pad at the condo was being drained while we were there, but we were able to enjoy the beach instead with not much complaining from our kids lol. The elevators worked just fine (I saw in previous reviews there had been issues) but parking was a bit tight even with a minivan. And we were very happy we could walk across the street to grab little things we needed from the convenience store and get breakfast or coffee at Waffle House. Overall we loved this condo and would happily stay here again in the future!

Our condo was the right size for our family with two large HS boys and one six year old. But the unit felt dirty. The king bed in the master bedroom was completely broken apart when we arrived and the floors were still sandy. Dishes in the kitchen cabinets had food stuck on them. Pools were less than desirable. They were rather gross actually. But at least they were open? Our property agent had told us they were closed. In addition, the washer and dryer were both extremely loud.

Pros:__Big enough for 5 of us.__All rooms were nice and big.__Main reason we picked this Condo was the 2 Lazy Boy Recliners. As my husband has leg swelling.__Nice balcony.__Great Air Conditioning.__Tile floor through the entire Condo.__Great to have TV’s in all the bedrooms and living room.__Nice being right on the beach____Cons:__One Elevator was out and the other one, the waits were an hour long the first week end we were there. Grand daughter had to use the stairs all 17 Flights !! Health Hazard.__The elevator also smelled like pee from little kids. Health Hazard.__The grills outside are very rusty and in my opinion unuseable. Health Hazard__Had banging in the air ducts starting at 2am one morning.They did not stop for 12 hours.__Kids the floor above us were feed the pigeons. So there were swarming our balcony. Health Hazard.__Carts to move in and out were hard to find to use. __We also had a bat on our balcony one night. Health Hazard__We also listed many things we found when we moved in as we didn’t want to be charged for any of it. __A lot of money for the Condo.
