Just west of the Gulf Place public beach entertainment area in Gulf Shores, Driftwood Towers is a serene and relaxing yet fun and welcoming condominium complex.

A sparkling outdoor swimming pool faces the Gulf of Mexico with its sea oat-covered dunes and expansive beachfront area that provides ample space for vacationing families to build sandcastles, splash in the Gulf, stroll underneath the starry sky and simply enjoy spending time together.

You'll find everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals in your condo's fully equipped kitchen and dining area, but if you enjoy cooking and dining outdoors, a grilling area is located on site.

Each individual condo features its own private balcony giving you the option to extend your living space outdoors, watch the sun rise and set each day, and relax to the sounds of the surf, seagulls and happy families playing below.

The condo is in a perfect location. It offers a perfect ocean view, short walk to the beach and a nice shaded area to sit in near the pool. The two bedrooms were perfect for our group of five. We appreciated the complex was not a high-rise. We will stay here again in the future.

The balcony is just incredible. Views, even from the master, are breathtaking. If you can get over some of the little hiccups, it's really pretty nice and very comfortable.

If you are looking for a budget friendly condo directly on the beach, this is it! Very quiet end unit. Plenty of carts available to get your stuff up and down. Pool area was very nice. Felt very family friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

It was a good view but unit could use some updating. One of the elevators went out during our stay. Lots of little black gnats on balcony and inside.

The place and location were as promoted, but the after-stay service has been awful. My daughter left some shorts there and I’ve been trying to find out if the cleaners found them, but all I keep getting back are automated messages saying it will cost me $25 for them to even ask the local staff (whether they have it or not). I understand paying for shipping and time if they have to mail something to me, but $25 just to see if they have it seems out of line.

We really enjoyed our stay in 5H. Here are the good things about it! It is corner unit so very quiet. We never heard noise of any kind! The unit was very clean on our arrival, which is important to me, especially on a beach! There was only two of us, but this was plenty big for six people. Two bedrooms with a foldout couch. The balcony is awesome! You have a fabulous view, and it’s a good size for all to enjoy! The kitchen is great, very clean, and has everything you need for cooking. Wifi worked great no problems. And most importantly to me, great water pressure and hot water! The only negstive is that the unit/building is a bit dated, but still very functional, and everything worked. Who really spends time inside anyway? You’re on the beach! We are very budget oriented, and this was definitely a good find compared to other prices in Gulf Shores The only reason I gave this unit a 4 is because it could really use some new furniture, but again, we were hardly there except to eat and sleep. I would definitely consider staying there again!

The king bed in 5H was good. The couch in the living room was very worn as was the carpet and the foot stool was broken. The vent fans in both bathrooms were excessively noisy.

First off, Vacasa was awesome to work with. After a booking mishap, they were quick and eager to solve the problem. They even called to make sure our trip was going well. The house was beautiful and in a great location. It literally took 2 mins to be from the condo to the waves. Close to restaurants. No complaints we would definitely stay again!!
