"Nice hotel with spacious room on 4th floor. Restaurant was good for evening meal with salmon fillet. Camden Ale was nice although £7.20/pint. Good service and breakfast was nice. The bathroom has some mould on the silicone around the bath and a gap at the pivot of the shower screen which results in the floor becoming wet."

"The staff were so quick when checking us in and they added late checkout until 2pm as we were visiting my newborn niece on life support in the hospital. Breakfast was lovely, our room was beautifully clean with a fantastic shower and the bed was so comfortable I never wanted to leave it! "

"When checking in at 7pm on the Saturday night the man who greeted us at the desk was very polite and made us feel at ease. He explained everything in great detail and couldnt do enough to help, for example when we asked he gave us extra towels and tea ect. Would 100000% stay again"

"A lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities a beautiful golf course and leisure facilities. The breakfast was very good and the food in the bar was also good. Only issue for me was the bed was a bit tired with the springs feeling through and the pillows just not firm enough for my liking. "

Room was way better than I imagined with a view of the gardens.Nice large and comfy bed and decor was a high standard.Booked a superior room so got an entrance hall and dressing room. Grounds were stunning and enjoyed a walk before a nice evening meal. The hotel bar was in the great hall which was an amazing location. The only let down was the WiFi and phone reception.Probably due to the location and age of building. Would recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break away in the country."

"it’s not my first time here, we come annually for a forces mental health charity called talking2minds. Never have an issue with the room to staff always friendly and the food I’ve always found to be excellent. You certainly can’t fault the buffet style breakfast."
