I did enjoy this hotel. I did enjoy the locations. The courtyard is so beautiful and a lot of spaces to sit down. The room was large and comfortable. Shower was good and warm water.

Great area to stay in. Close to everthing. The prroperty is old and the rooms should be renovated, however, the gardens are exceptional. Efren, at the reception was incredibly helpful in guiding us and in getting us all the info we needed. Couldn't have done it without him!

Ok but not great
Good service at reception. Room is very old and could use a coat of paint. Bed comfort was not so great as beds were old and worn too. No AC and I had to ask for a fan which they provided right away. Interior garden and sitting area is nice. The price was excellent. Location is about 6 blocks to National Palace and Cathedral. Ok place for budget travelers.

Two days in Guatemala city
Got to the hotel at 6 30. My room was not ready so we went out for a few hours and were able to check in early. Nice court yards with lots of plants. Room did not have a fan, (windows open to the court yards) so it was a stuffy. Carpet in the room needs to be cleaned or replaced. Nice receptionist

Staff was very helpful. Some staff knows English; that is a big plus for me; I do not speak Spanish. Parking garage is excellent. No problem with checking out at 5:00 a.m.; the attendant was notified and made available to open the door. My single room was large and comfortable, with private bathroom and hot shower. Two courtyards have an abundance of plants, just like the photos. I have another reservation made, for a 2nd visit. I really liked the hotel. I rent a car at La Aurora Airport, and drive to the hotel. Transportation may be an issue for you, so it is best to plan ahead.
I did not stayed at this property because the minute I got there I had the worst experience very scary place hotel was old dirty very unsafe vendors inside the property plus the room was in poor condition bed sheets were wet floor carpet needs to be change it had a very unpleasant smell this property it looks more like a motel than a hotel the worst hotel ever don’t stay there run away please

A beautiful, old and largely unrenovated building. Staff try hard, but... no hot water overnight or in the wee hours before a dawn flight. Not a very good breakfast. What's good is the central location -- and the charm of the old building.
Fleas in beds me and family had. Horrible service especially when throughout the day or at night if we needed cups for water or coffee the front desk would insist that they could not open the kitchen and give us cups
The property was very dirty, carpet looked like its never been washed, there was street vendors inside the patio, really unsafe neighborhood, there was roaches and fleas in the room, did not stay in this place, places likebl this should not be on espedia
