"We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Santa Tecla Palace. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was excellent as was the service. The pool is as amazing as it looks in the photos. It’s clean and the lifeguards are very helpful. The sea was lovely, easy access and crystal clear water. Reception staff are also very helpful. What a treat to stay here and we will definitely be back! I would say that if you want to see the surrounding areas hiring a car is helpful. "

"They are really making an effort to cater to folks wanting a quiet space to relax and enjoy the region. It is a working farm, but the fresh food in the morning is a joy. They also do a set dinner if there are enough guests and it some good honest cooking from the staff and the menu varies daily. Friday and Saturday can be an issue as there is a banquet venue on a neighboring property that can get rather loud, the party house behind the small suites at least try to give warning and control their behaviour. But it's an ideal spot to centre your travels around Catania and the east coast and allows you to relax and destress after a hard day exploring the region."

"We stayed here while we visited Mt Etna, Taormina and Bronte and it was a great location. The hotel was very clean, new, good dinner (although we wished for a bigger menu to include pizza), a nice breakfast. The staff were all wonderful! Only issue we had was that Riposto was very dirty. They say it’s because of the government not picking up the trash, etc but clearly it’s a pretty bad problem. It was gross. So as long as there are no expectations of the town,people will be thrilled to stay there! "
