Stay: April 2025 | During Canton Fair
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel—and I’ve stayed at many throughout China. I stayed at La Perle International Hotel for a few nights during the Canton Fair, and it was a huge regret. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful—especially when I had an issue with their laundry service.
At every other hotel on my trip, I used self-service laundry without a problem. But here? My clothes came out burnt and damaged. I asked for compensation, and instead of taking responsibility while I was there, they waited until after I had left to tell me they would do nothing. Absolutely unacceptable.
If you're a foreigner visiting for business or travel, do yourself a favor—skip this hotel. There are plenty of better, more affordable options just down the street with far superior service.
The management team at La Perle needs serious retraining. Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer care is shocking. If I could give zero stars, I would. Safe to say, they will never get my business again.
P.s they never even apologized for the situation and instead gave a mean smirk...
