The town has a lot to offer. We booked a tour to see many of the local museums including the Momias. We also booked one of the Callejoneadas and it was a very memorable experience! We loved it. The vendors can be pushy.

We saw most of the recommended sights during our stay. It's a small town and much of the tourist economy is, appropriately, targeted to Spanish speakers. We went on some and did the best we could with our elementary level language stills. Loved it

Get ready for some noise. We had difficulty finding wild Caught fish. Very good location for steaks and for classic Mexican dishes. The tourist district is all within easy walking distance If your heart can withstand the hills.

"We loved our stay at Hotel San Diego. Although the elevators were not working, Jose was extremely kind enought to always pffer his assistance withour Luggage. The rooms were very clean and the convenience of being en el centro was amazing!! Definitely coming back!"
"This is our second time at Hotel Luna! Loved that we had an opportunity to stay here with our children this time! It is very close to everything, so royal, and the food during breakfast is nothing short of scrumptious! "
