"Arriving at Bari we firstly had a message from Paola giving clear map directions via Google -allow at least 2 hours by car from the airport. The accommodation was on 2 levels which was a pleasant surprise as was the welcome pack of foodstuffs. Grateful too for the map of Lecce and Puglia given to us - none provided by the car hire company. Two nice restaurants in Lizzarello - Li Mori and Villa Pins. Good base for visiting much of Puglia and south managed Otranto and St M Leuca and north Ostuni...

"Beautiful location and friendly owners. Upon arrival, they provided us with recommendations for various restaurants, groceries and stores. Our family of 8 even ate in their restaurant the night of arrival. We rented all 3 rooms due to size of family and there was plenty of space. Would stay again."

"We spent a week here and truly enjoyed it. The location is perfect. Right in the historic district and a two minute walk to the Duomo. The street is quiet (we were there during May). Clarissa, the property manager, quickly responded to any and all questions. She gave great suggestions for restaurants and day trips and can help organize excursions for you (we did our own since we had a car). I saw some reviews complaining about the parking. First, you must understand it is a ZTL so cars are not...

"Really a terrific place to stay. Simple, efficient, well run, clean and an extremely helpful staff. The staff helped my daughter and I with great suggestions for day trips to nearby towns and beaches, including restaurant recommendations and useful tips on routes, etc. Breakfasts were great. Parking was very convenient and reasonably priced for the convenience of having a dedicated spot rather than constantly searching for street parking and having to pay. I saw some reviews mentioning sound from the bar in the evening but we experienced nearly complete silence in our 2nd floor room. We will definitely stay again next time we visit the region."
